NEW Facebook Ads

the suggested bids jumping 50% is what set off my alarm. My rep says that they have not done anything major but they have to be tinkering to see that kinda of jump. I have run the same ads for almost a year and never seen a it out of a 10% variance. My spend is down to about 33% of the trailing 3 month average over the last day and a half.
 


Anyone else noticed a huge increase in cpc? My suggested bids literally rocketed by 30%

bids always jump when FB is fucking around with shit and no one can get traffic, so people jack their bids up in a failed attempt to get traffic.

It'll drop back down soon enough.
 
Is anyone having credit card issues today while creating a new account? I have tried two cards and Facebook is saying, "Sorry, we cannot process your card at this time."

Any info would be helpful. Thanks
 
Sure about that? What if Dickerberg thinks it's the best way to raise some monies?

prosem, call your cc company. Amex almost always says "screw this" to your fbook payment and denies it. I've had to call them about 10000000000x and tell 10000000 different people those charges are OK.
 
Anybody has to re-enter their credit card info when creating new ads?

Now Facebook prompts me to re-enter my CC detail EVERY TIME I create ads. Annoying. Nothing wrong with my billing though.
 
I'm seeing that when creating an account in my old account. But, upon trying to create a new account, I can't even get my card to go through. Sometimes it will just say unavailable or something like that. Are they changing everything up, or is it just a temporary glitch?
 
i'm getting no traffic today on ads that have .2 or better ctr's close to 1 dollar cpms for them... wtf is going on.. i was told the ad server is now stable.. bs... tuesday i had about 30x more impressions and clicks at thsi time... anyone else seeing this?

bid prices have gone through the roof this week. I have some ads with .3 CTR that I'm having to bid 0.40 CPC or more to get impressions (1 million + demos). I really don't understand it.
