NEW Facebook Ads

anyone ever try cpm on fb?

yeah im trying it now, it is giving me a cheaper CPC, but no where near as cheap as it was before this change lately, whatever it may be.

I encourage everyone to contact your AM, as useless as it may sound, noise in numbers sometimes works.

I am sure they are seeing this as a dip in revenue anyway.

For me its quiet simple, what used to cost 15c now costs 40c to get volume with same CTR. Fucked.

im just hoping the past 2 weeks is just some problem, and eventually

rectifies. My AM swears nothing has changed and just says, that more users on the system push the price up.

I replied and said, more users has meant I now pay 40c where I used to pay 15c and they didnt reply.

I have been getting killed for two weeks. It is mainly on US traffic but I see it across the board so I call bullshit on "more users".

Its a fb artificial price floor. If you don't bid enough... they will just not give you impressions. Its that simple.

This statement is BS. I am running a very profitable campaign on FB without any keywords.

Agreed 100% - my most profitable campaign had 0 keywords and was actually VERY broad

I took one of my best campaigns, took out all keywords, got into a demo 8 times bigger, got almost as good of a ctr and almost as good of a conversion rate, and quadrupled my volume.
Awesome - glad to hear that I was wrong which could mean bigger profits. I'm going to try redoing my profitable campaigns but without keywords. Can't wait to see what happens. Thanks.

i been using facebook for a bit, what i cant get is how people can get iq, easygoogle, acai and so on approved, cloaking? redirect? i have tried both and still get disapproved, any pointers would be greatly appreciated, ya i know this is one of my first posts. i like to hang back and just read to learn but i am having a hell of a time lately not geting any impressions on ads that ran fine last week, even took cpc to 1.00 to just see and still no impressions over 6 hours....

oziwagz..
Cloak the links..
use Prosper202..and do this!
In the Affiliate Campaign Setup >> Add a Campaign >> Affiliate Url >> enter some generic site MSN.com or whatever

Remember to "Pause" the campaign in the facebook untill it is activated!

Go back to P202 and change the link in the "Affiliate Url" part to your aff link once Facebook approves your ad.

http://www.3fatchicks.com/diet-recipes/2
http://www.3fatchicks.com/diet-recipes/3
and it makes a 404, know how to fix this?
i have cloakin on and off and it still does it.....

TIA

sent a PM ..

and the generated link will look like this ...

yourtrackingwebsite .com/tracking202/redirect/dl.php?t202id=5276&t202kw=

I haven't seen a link look the ones you mentioned..

Fuckers got my account banned today. Does anything think they're flagging affiliate accounts, and that's what's causing the higher bids?

but everytime it gets cliccked on it counts....if ya take a look....

ugh this is driving me batshit insane.:ugone2far:

The same thing baffled me for a little while but you're almost there.

I assume you've got the following URL set up:
http://www.msn.com/subid=24
It should be:
MSN.com&subid=24

Same goes for all affiliate networks, sometimes they look like the following:
http://www.affnet.com/2a3/4332/as3/&subid=
http://www.affnet.com/file.php?a=12323sdasf&subid1=
