NEW Facebook Ads

Hey can someone give me the short advice

I built 2 websites (well, actually 1 websites on 2 different domains) for lodging.

Now I would like to try and spread the word about it on Fb. My target audience is 75 000 according to Facebook (I'm from Cro, Europe)

Any ideas what bid would be good for starting this campaign?

I was thinking launching the ads in Monday, since I personally believe that people don't work shit on mondays, they just sit in their offices in front of PC's and rant what they did and where they were via Facebook. So that's possibly 75 000 peoples x 8 hours of Facebook.

It gives you a suggested bid. Just start with the bottom end of that if you have no clue how much to bid.

$0.01 to start, if you dont get any impressions bump it up to 0.02 and increment it until you start to get traffic. Give it time too start also.

Fucking hell... I made a typo in one of my ads that I set up last night, the facebook rep that approved the ad didn't click it to realize that the link led nowhere, and I sent traffic for about 12 hours to a blank page :(
Believe me mate, you will only do that once.

It says all about the FB rep, approves a blank page!?

taking my high .20+ CTR% for CPC ads .. and duping those exactly the same as a CPM campaign is working well for me ... with low bids.

Note: i am targeting to the T with all ads .. and I'm noticing my broad groups aren't getting shown at the lower bids like the targeted ads are.

surely the AM's have heard this heaps by now, you would think something would be underway to rectify it.

Have anyone noticed if the clicks are coming from different places on the site compared to before?

One other interesting thing to check out is time on your landers from google analytics.

For me, such a sudden drop off almost looks like a bot or something is hitting my ads.

my conversions have been way down this past week too. anybody can shed some light on this?

Stats from a new campaign:
Day 1 : 90 clicks 0 conversions
Day 2 : 29 clicks 5 conversions

This offer normally converts at 20% so 90 clicks without a single conversion is fishy.
