NEW Facebook Ads

Class action wont be necessary. Google and yahoo both credit for fraud, and Fb is newer to the block, they will have to as well. But everyone needs to keep talking about it, on all the boards. The more the word spread, the more chance they will respond. Affiliates are a small chunk of the total ad spend on FB from what Ive been told, so we better start talking loudly. I dont have a rep since I dont roll as big as Mike T et al, but someone with a rep needs to get some dialogue going...

1-2% and I dont think anyone would say shit...10-20%...F that..

I complained to support and got the samed canned response back today. Everyone should at least lodge a complaint and keep posting about this issue until they acknowledge it.

Should we start all emailing all the account reps? They certainly took the liberty of PMing everyone on this board a few months back trying to drum up business.

considering yesterday I looked at my girlfriends ad wall and 60% of the ads were affiliate ads, I doubt this very much.

I haven't heard back from support yet.

looking at one account and thats your study? If I knew you better Id show you my Fb scraper results and then you would see what I see. How about 100's of accounts across all demos, top 3 countries etc etc.

and relatively few affiliate ads overall?

I hit up my rep via phone today. They advised they are aware of the problem and that it is with ad engineers presently looking for a solution.

My 2 cents worths was to include some lander side code and charge for clicks >0secs.. lol no chance but worth the try.

Globefrog - thanks for following up with a real person at FB on this and letting us know they acknowledged the problem.

Still making money with their traffic over the past few days, but definitely overcharged for clicks.

i am also seeing 10 - 15% click fraud... resulting in couple hundred lost a day... and I got the same canned response. This new "affiliate" email is bs... going from 2 diff reps to someone i can't even talk to on the phone.

my click fraud was actually DOWN this morning until about noon est.

now back to 15% bullshit.

A quick Q -- Not sure if it's been asked here yet.

I submit about 30 ads. 5 ads a campaign. Each campaign is a different niche. All cloaked.

All of them were reviewed at the same time, the first campaign was rejected because the img was inappropriate/irrelevant. Fair enough, it was slightly questionable. But the rest of my fucking campaigns were rejected due to the same reason. WTF. Are these guys getting lazy to not be checking each ad or campaign atleast, or do they just hate me? Does this happen to you guys too? Any ideas how I can get around this?

This happens to me too.

Best you can do is submit the ads one by one, or a batch of similar ads... or be lucky that they approve the first one so they can approve the others.

They certainly don't go over all the ads.

I think I know what is going on with facebook traffic issues for certain affiliates.

I'm not going to disclose what I think it is because if its not what I think it is then I don't want I'm thinking out in the open.

Let me just say that I am going to test my theory in two different ways and if I'm right, some of you are some dirty dirty motherfuckers.
