I feel you. My suggested bid is usually as low as 0.09-0.12 on campaigns with any kind of CTR. But I usually have to bid double just to get more than 1 click per hour.
 


but what is causing this ? it seems systematic. what's the error at Facebook? Or don't they care? Interesting way to reach $500MM in revenues.
 
I created a new account several days ago and it also fails to get impressions each day unless tweaked like the old account. Today I had to tweak all ads twice to get impressions.

Here is Facebook's canned response to my query of several days ago:

For any given ad unit, we select the best ad to run based on its bid and historical performance. Therefore, if you are not receiving as many clicks or impressions as you would like, we suggest increasing your maximum CPC or CPM bid. We also suggest making sure your ad is as relevant as possible by targeting your ad to the most appropriate audience. Your ad is more likely to perform better and continue running successfully if it is being displayed to the users who are likely to be the most interested in your ad and click on your ad. You may want to experiment with multiple versions of your ad text and targeting to see which one generates the best results.

Ok I created a new campaign with around 10 ads in the same group. The ads got approved, recieved exact 633 impressions in 2 hours with 1$ bids then BAM no impressions.
 
their system is no good at math

also about half the impressions as normal today but whatever, get more traffic sources

no i mean in the whole account about half, not just one ad. im just pointing out they are displaying a mathematical error. So if they calculate that wrong no wonder their system is such a cluster fuck.
 
So for the first time today I got an account disabled that had an outstanding balance and the card was rejected. So now the account sits with the ads section disabled but the outstanding balance still showing with no cards on the account for them to attempt to charge.

Anyone have any experience with this? Is facebook going to contact me for that money sometime? I'd guess they don't even have a department to do stuff like that and I got a little parting gift on that account this time.

this is interesting .. i never really even factored that into any issues i've had with my ads... the thumbs up / down is fairly new to fb (no?) maybe what could be happening is they have been gathering data from users .. accounts with a lot of negative feed back probably get owned .. and could even lead to them coming into your account and retro-dq'in ads that are getting totally slammed.
