NEW Facebook Ads

Zero impressions most of the day

With over 1$ bid (US) => A few hours later 2K$ spent, in less than 2 hours.

It seems they are changing their minds every day. Would be more careful next time with >1$ bids.

i dont understand how they do not fire every single person working in the FB ads department, including the utterly useless sales people. Heads should be rolling over there. There is alot of money at stake for them and their investors and one of their main income streams is a complete and utter joke, ripe with fraud, inconsistent approvals, etc.

their investors should be screaming bloody murder.

yo actually you know what could be effective? snag the contact info for some of the big vc's who have actually invested in fb and email them in detail about how fucked up their advertising platform is.

contacting google directly and shit doesnt work that well -- they dont give a fuck. clearly emailing facebook doesnt work either, they as a company also somehow dont give a fuck. email their major investors directly though? could cause drama. especially if you referred them to a thread like this where its a shittrain of annoyed peeps and how we all want to spend more $ and they constantly fuck it up.

if someone here could get peter theil worked up enough he might just try to do something...

anyone who does email any investors should put together a quality, professionally worded email detailing specifically our issues w/ the fb ad platform. they're legit complaints, and the people you're emailing are professionals who likely are very busy. a 1 line email like "hey fb ads suck check this thread out for proof" wont cut it.

(not saying you sent a shit email badar just wanted to point out to anyone else who was gonna email)

if someone does mention this thread, mentioning that the sentiment is shared by most of the forum (as is clear by the huge # of posts), and members of this forum alone could easily drive an additional few hundred thousand dollars per day of revenue (perhaps 500k+? dunno boys, how big are all ya'll wallets) at facebook might be useful.

Thanks. I was pretty much aware that a company that invested $200 millions in other company isn't run by some college kid. So I composed an official e-mail... in Russian heh :)

yeah badar, wasnt trying to call you out, and props for contacting them. just wanted to avoid the potential backfiring of said plan when some other newb figured itd be a good idea to email like "omg fb ads fucking suck check out this thread"

Yeah, I agree with you. To all the others, stop sitting and complaining and start doing something.

Yes, still having problems. Even an ad that had .56CTR with a high bid got 10 impressions the next day when I lowered the CPM bid to a couple cents above suggested bidding price.

WARNING GUYS!

Yesterday before going to sleep, my avg CPM was .19 or .18 I changed it to .15 so I won't wake up with a surprise.

Guess what ? SURPRISE!

When I woke up my avg CPM is .23 !!!! Which means they billed me close to .30 when I was bidding .15 CPM !

Now this is just wrong.

Don't know about an issue like this for CPC bidding but happened to me on CPM bidding, you might want to check this.

Drama ?
