NEW Facebook Ads



After complaining about the lack of impressions even after bidding much higher than the suggested bid, my Facebook rep said they're pushing a fix tonight that should solve the impressions issue. Hopefully it does...

Brilliant, that just means they've upped their artificial price floors. I was actually managing to get traffic yesterday and I'm not getting any today which is kind of annoying.
 
Artificial price floor - they just wanted the money back which they credited to our accounts ;)

Anybody else get a threat letter from facebook? I got it after they just disapproved a bunch of my 9 months old ads :angrysoapbox_sml:

Their suggested bidding price has been so off lately its ridiculous. The fact that they're putting in a 'fix' tonight doesn't fill me with confidence either - cant wait for the Error screens and 3 other things being broken in the process and some other surprise 'improvement'.

If they've just fucked with the price floors at least there may be some stability and consistency. Will it be the 10 inch strap-on or the 4 inch, Facefuck?
 
no fix on this end... still need to bid 3x suggested... maybe they are just doing this to get back the refunds they issued
 
i'm having no problems with impressions i spend 1-3k a day.. so what are you guys promoting that they have stopped giving you impressions..
 
i've actually talked to them on the phone... its not effecting all accounts... really only older accounts...

but i'm promoting rolling razor... have you seen it?
 
ah i assumed you guys were just cloaking and breaking rules..

my friend who's been fb PPC for over a year isn't having this problem either..

i do enjoy the 30 cent clicks on .05 ctrs though..
 
Be carefull with the changing of the account currency.
It will copy all your ads to a second advertising account (inside your facebook account). All these new copies will be new ads, so they will be reviewed again and they start at 0 impressions. Your daily budget will be carried over to the new currency account.

Your old account will be paused completely (you can unpause everything) and your daily budget will drop back to $50.

they review everything again? I almost did this the other day.. fuck that.

Seems not a day goes past without some new change. Submitted some ads yesterday that got disapproved. resubmitted the exact same ads today and now I am getting this:

"The text contains a blocked word or phrase."
both for the heading and the body of the ad. The ad is not even in English ffs.

Of course they dont give you a list of blocked words. Probably another new 'feature' gone buggy.
