Glowleaf- in order to claim your prize, simply send your ad to me via pm and your prize will be shipped, right after you pay $4.95 S&H for the free trial...dont bother reading the small print :)

ps- where have you been?

"Since 06/12/2008"

I win for 14 days.

Are you guys actually competing? lol.

The oldest one I'm currently using is "Since 01/30/2008" - but I've got quite a few campaigns still approved from Dec 2007.

In the end of it all - why does it matter?

This thread isn't really worth reading considering the techcrunch article and how long it is.

Alls I want to know is when testing ad variations for the exact same demographic do you run them at the same time and just continue with the winner or rotate for a couple days? I don't want to run two ads on the same demographic if that will lead to less impressions or will it lead to more? Will impressions be split evenly? I have 2-4 ads all for the same demographic that have very similar good ctr. Should I run them all or just the top ctr. I don't want to compete against myself for impressions.

I don't understand facebook's system at all, but cpm bidding is fantastic.

Edit: I just got an ad disapproved, that was approved. I was targetting all men over 18 in a country with a dating offer and it got approved. I realized it was stupid to target married men etc, so I changed it to over 18 single men in a country and that was denied. LOL @ getting the first version approved. Especially after reading:

  1. [ ] the Relationship Status targeting parameter must be utilized and set to Single;
  2. [x] the Sex targeting parameter must be utilized and a single value of Male or Female must be selected;
  3. [x] the Age targeting parameter must be utilized and the age range selected must start at least at 18 years old;
  4. [ ] the Interested In targeting parameter must be utilized and a single value of either Men or Women must be selected.

no impressions on other campaigns after some previously approved ads were disabled.. this happen to anyone else?

ridulously high recommended UK bids for cpc with a .15% ctr . And then you still get plenty of impressions when you bid very very low.
Keep em low people!

Finally figured out FB. 1000%+ ROI and 0.5% CTR's all day long. Can't believe at one point I said "Fuck Facebook"... HA
