NEW Facebook Ads

Are they checking your page without refferer?
I managed to get all sorts of dirty accepted.

I cloaked ip's based on whois results, and started a list of non-us fb reviewer ip's.

Should I switch to cloaking? I haven't been cloaking, but instead showing a different LP until it gets accepted and then switching it to the bad LP. Would cloaking make a difference? It's basically the same thing.

No you should be able to get things approved the way your doing it.

My script just makes sure if they view the page after it is approved and running, they will still see the cloaked page.

Is anybody having trouble getting budget increases? I've sent several requests to affiliates@facebook.com requesting a budget increase. None of the requests have been replied to and my budget remains at $50.

kind of a dumb question, but are you guys running your ads/campaigns on your accounts that you use your facebook with?

or are you making new profiles for advertising and keeping your real ones separate?

(yes, newbie trying to jump into FB)

I'm using my personal account, but that's because I didn't think about making a new one. I'd probably go with a new one though, in case any troubles come up.

I'm just using the one connected to my real FB account. I assure you, it is no Google Quality Score nor are the CPC's nearly as expensive. Also, TONS of volume.... and BADASS ROI.

I should of bitched about the rebills on here sooner. I got 5 different ones approved last night. Now to start making some real monies.

Will the whois actually say that the ip belongs to facebook?

The us-based reviewers yes.

And as you gather IP's you can add them to the IP list.
Manual reviews (if they happen) will come from FB office, and if they dont use the referer you have the IP or whois checked so it is still cloaked

a lot of my ads were being checked then rechecked without referer.

Ah nice! - Do you use htaccess file for this, or some other kind of script?

just a php class
not very efficient probably, but i just made it to work one day when i wanted to try something.

I sent emails off for a higher spend cap, but do they even work on weekends? I havent gotten anything approved all day.

same here but I do FB occasionally so I don't know if it's regular
I have 2 ads waiting to be reviewed for 10 hours at the moment, and not in english which may be worse

I remember someone posted a script to detect fb interns but can't find it anymore...anyone has it handy?

PHP:
<?php

    $ip = $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'];

    if (stristr($_SERVER["HTTP_REFERER"], "dev.facebook")) { $log = 1; }
    if (stristr($_SERVER["HTTP_REFERER"], "devrs001.facebook.com"))  { $log = 1; }
    if (stristr($_SERVER["HTTP_REFERER"], "/intern/ads/review.php")) { $log = 1; }
    if (stristr($_SERVER["HTTP_REFERER"], "/intern.facebook.com/")) { $log = 1; }
    if (stristr($_SERVER["HTTP_REFERER"], "/dev.facebook.com/")) { $log = 1; }

    if($log == 1) {
        header('location:http://someaddressforfbadmins.com');
     }

?>

are they kidding?
they disapproved my ads + landing page again and again mentioning sections 4,5,13
both ad and lp are totally clean, a long clean article with a single link to ebay and an ebay banner on the side....wtf?

the ads were all kind of "want to lose weight?" "discover how xxx reduced her weight etc", img was a girl with a measuring tape and the landing page just tells this girl's story, that you should go running to lose pounds etc....it can't be cleaner than this :|

what kind of ad + lp goes through in weight loss?
