NEW Facebook Ads

I just got this

It has come to our attention that your ads rank among the poorest quality in our ads system. A large number of users have expressed that your ads are "misleading" and/or "offensive". As an effect, your advertising account daily spend limit has been lowered to $500 USD. If your ad quality improves, your account will be reevaluated. "

Is someone voting down competition? My facebook ads have never been misleading, unlike many I've seen.
 


I think its someone gaming that feature. Hopefully they can fix it. The fact that its happening to all of us means its either

a) someone voting down competition with bots
b) a bug in facebook's system
c) a policy change that will be very nasty for us

I'm hoping its either a or b

I just got that email for ALL 4 of my advertising accounts at the same time. A couple of those don't have ads running in them at all right now. But I think all had some ads retro-disapproved the other week over the 'no freebies' bullshit (about 900 mostly paused ads in total across the accounts, although mostly in 2).

Seems to be an across the board thing based on some past behaviour parameter.
 
I haven't gotten that email yet, and I'm running several campaigns on pretty high budgets. I'll let you know if I get one also.
 
Was anyone who got hit with this get it on an account that was not running dating? I'm trying to find some commonality with some other affs and thats all we've figured out so far.
 
I'm talking to some affiliates who are much bigger into fb dating than I am and they did not get this, so now I have no freaking clue.
 
Also received the message for multiple accounts all at the same time. A couple accounts haven't been used in a few months, didn't run dating or zip submits on them, and one only ran the reunion.com offer several months ago.
 
Got the same email (spending decreased) running dating, gaming, and toolbars. I had one of my ads for gaming dissed by the users, but that was months ago, and it was only one ad...

Got this letter too. Fucking pisses me off as I was just about to give up on pushing dating anyways. How the hell can you be profitable by putting up a head shot that only gives you a .08% CTR?

I'd love to know how anyone is making a living off of doing that.
 
It seems like it only applies to older accounts. Considering I've never ran scammy shit on FB, I have no idea which ads had poor user feedback.

All my ads, and I mean every single one of them, were head shots with no cleavage, no nothing in the picture. Some ads don't even show the neck. All my dating campaigns were completely compliant... Compliant text, compliant images, targetting correct demos... clueless as to why I got this. Oh well.
