Thanks for info.. and sorry, I don't keep up to date on everything as I have too much on the go.

I also noticed this. Basically, you shouldn't switch ad model (so CPC to CPM and back) cause it will create lot of bid increases and headaches to return to decent CTR in my case at last. Better it seems to create new ads. Create ad and let it run. Don't switch shit !!!!

However if you don't touch anything and it's increase instead of decrease, I don't know. Didn't had that.

How good is FB traffic in terms of converting vs google?

Is facebook traffic worth 30 cents a click? I know a lot of people make a killing on facebook but is that because they pay like 1-5 cents a click and get huge volume so a 20% ROI can end up being huge with large numbers?

Is it more about the volume than ROI?

Today while disapproving my new ads somebody at facebook decided to do some retroactive disapprovals of any other ads in my account with the same names as the new disapprovals, even if they were completely unrelated. They left hundreds of others running that were almost exactly the same, but didn't have names matching the new submissions. Weird.

I have been messing around with facebook recently and it is a pain in the ass to say the least. Although I tried emailing advertising@facebook.com and got a pretty interesting response. I was running an offer for scholarships that were geared towards mothers (yes, all of you who know anything have seen this damn thing plastered all over the web). Well anyways I decided to give it a run on facebook. I literally submitted around 1600 ads, each in groups of 100 over the course of about 6 days before almost throwing my computer away in disgust.

So I emailed advertising@facebook.com and was like wtf is wrong with my ads mother fuckers. And the guy actually said something along these lines, "This offer has gotten a lot of negative feedback from users and is not actually geared towards mothers so you cannot say that in the ad body" I am like WHAT THE FUCK the name of the offer I am sending them to is fucking scholarships for moms how much clearer can you be that the offer is for moms. Do they think some kid is going to say "hey it is a site called scholarships for moms, I am going to go ahead and put my info in there". If that is there logic, then no offer is specifically for any demographic. But that really pissed me off because the offer which I was direct linking to was called scholarships for moms, and even the WEBSITE was scholarships for moms (not the exact website but again if you have been paying attention to competitors you know what it is, and it is literally almost the same thing.

Anyways, does this mean facebook is looking into the actual offers being promoted now?

/end rant and fuck you facebook

yes... most of the time when 100's of affs run the same offer and use as much deception as possible the offer gets banned...

this doesnt only happen on facebook... most networks do look at the offers people are running... thats how they steal your shit... or attract other advertisers ;)

Is Facebook Ads Manager down for anyone else?

Just noticed this, looks like they changed the layout yet again and now require you to click on one of those crosses to select various targeting options:

Hmnm, strange. It appears as if the option is gone now and the pluses are expanded by default again on some of my accounts, whereas before they would have a menu option saying "basic, advanced" and some other stuff that I don't remember and cannot see because it went away. Strange.
