NEW Facebook Ads

Agreed, however the volume is pretty huge and pretty fast, so it should be statistically significant.

Yeah but you prob got the good CTR Thursday of Friday evening and are now (Sunday morning) wondering why your CTR isn't as good anymore.

Day and time of day can make huge differences especially in dating. You might have statistically relevant data, but it's only statistically relevant when it's gathered and can't necessarily be applied to any other day and time.

Good point, I kept an eye on that, but could have been way off.

I know what to do, just replicate the first ad and test it against the rest from scratch for a couple of days.

Thanks

So taking this as a daily average, you're a $10 Million+/year FB Client

Hah, not even close to daily, most of those ads ran 3-5 days before the ctr drops way too low. Usually they will start at 0.6-1% but within 5 days they are below 0.1 and no longer profitable. Also either FB has no impression cap or it is set at 30+. Luckily, after around 3 months of inactivity you can run the same ads again and repeat the cycle.

I doubt anyone doing 8-figures would suffer their infuriatingly crippled, buggy, self-serve interface. Maybe David Fischer will start kicking some asses but I haven't seen any evidence of that yet.

its all about ctr and if those are amazing still. not a doctored image:? im amazed with the high ctr and size demo.

Had the same problems. Just email them at affiliates@facebook.com
Within 24 hours, I would always get a response, and it would either go:

1) Admit they're retards and retro-approve the ads.
2) Tell you exactly what they didn't like about the ad.

Has never failed me.

I have tried emailing in the past to ask what was wrong with my ads or what would need to be changed to make them compliant. Somebody named Woody replied with a cut & paste of the same vague disapproval reasons that I could already see on the disapproved ads.

RANT TIME:

In my short with facebook, two things piss me off the most.

So, I have a nice profitable ad on facebook. I am bidding CPC and getting piss fucking all for traffic, I'm bidding like 10 cents over the max recommended CPC and still getting shit. I up it to 20 cents over and get a trickle of traffic. Stupidest part is whenever fb throws me impressions, the keep on lowering the suggested CPC. Like holy shit, don't keep on lowering it if you know I'm not going to get any traffic.

Secondly, so I'm getting like 10 clicks a day which is bullshit. So I decide to go the CPM way. I duplicate the adds exactly the same, and oh hai disapproved because I get some stupid feminist/atheist bitch. Lets resubmit 50 billion times fuck you with a fucking banana used by a monkey with aids as a dildo. Jesus murphy

HOLY FUCK>

Facebook ads are great, but seriously fellas, you guys need to start advertising on other platforms. Most of the guys in this thread seem to be relying too much on Facebook.

Get over your Facebook/Dating - Facebook/Gaming addictions. It's a bigger world out there.

And if you insist on living and dying by Facebook, try some stuff other than just dating. Think local.

^^ What he said. Facebook can be good and all for certain things, but definitely one fragile egg to pamper in your basket all by itself. And as long as you're pushing lead-type offers, it's a constant struggle to keep things stable / sustainable.
