I know this shit happened last year but not being an inventor/product creator, I just heard about this. Fucking corporate lobbyists fucking over the little guy again, making it even harder to create your own product.

This sucks. Yet another sad example of how government ignorance (which exists in most any country, not just here) has no foothold in reality, and screw things over without realizing actual consequences or long-term negative effects.
