Ultimately that's Jon's call, but my thought is: if we start implementing 24 hour bans for certain types of posts, then we open the floodgates for even more "unacceptable post types that result in bans and / or infractions" and it erodes the freedom of speech that Wickedfire is famous for.

Just my thoughts.

I've had threads appear on my feed reader only to go there any find them deleted. I assume there is a good reason for it, but still...

I don't think people should be banned for starting threads about other forums.. what's the point? Flame them or just ignore them if you don't like it.
