Hey everybody, I just turned 17 and I've known for as long as I could think about it that I am going to be my own boss, I'm just not good at working under somebody else and having them tell me what to do, not being able to do my own thing and use my own ideas. Internet marketing is something I have just become very interested in, and I think I could be good at it because I can dedicate myself to something 110%. I have some good ideas but I don't have the means to make them into realities. The problem is I'm not sure where to start, there is so much to learn and I'm not sure of what I need to know. Is going to college necessary? Have I waited to long to start in terms of being succesful? Do I have to be 18 to be making money from this stuff? (I live in Canada if that makes any difference) Where/how can I learn to do web design, programming and all that stuff? What are the essentials I NEED to know, as far as marketing strategies, terms, etc, etc. What else do I need? Any help or advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated :)

Wow mate, that's a lot of shit you're throwing at us.

Here's the first tip that was given to me when I got here:

Go through every section and read the stickies. They're there for a reason. If you read through all of them and you can't find the answers you're looking for, do a search for your issue. If you can't find it in the stickies OR in the search results, then start asking questions. No-one wants to waste their valuable time answering questions when the answers are readily available.

You wasted almost 10 years of your life doing nothing.

Step up. Make monies. Conquer Pussies and Take Over the World!

Pretty much what Louey said. I might just add that yeah that's the typical "I don't want to work for a boss who will stile me" etc. What you gotta understand is you have to make money doing this otherwise you are just waiting time, and while you might learn some value able lesson (such as get everything in writing and it's just business) you may waste years of your life on something that you will just give up on.

But yeah just make monies and get on with your life :D

You don't need college. I was making $200 a day when I was 15 and that's more than enough to live comfortably. If you do the right things, you'll be laughing at your high school buddies a few years later when you are successful and they still looking for a job.
