Cost: $59.99/year - Use coupon code 50off2009 to get 50% off the first year.

Okay, here's the deal. For a while now I've been wanting to launch a "premium" shared hosting service that would provide better speeds and uptime to clients who want to pay a little extra. So after beta testing a new server/datacenter for about six weeks, the plans are ready.

The basic idea is this: Instead of having 150+ people pay X amount of money per year for an account on a shared server, we'll cap a server at 50 accounts and those 50 accounts will pay a little more than the people on the 150+ account server. This means there are fewer people to cause problems and the server will be undersold. And with that, I'll just paste my standard WHT information for everyone to read over:

ZenSix is offering 50% off the first year of our new "Beep and Bump" plans. Use coupon code: 50off2009 to get your plan for just $30 today!

DirectAdmin Plans w/ "Beep and Bump" :: Only 50 Accounts per Server
- Experience an UNDER-sold server

This is our premium hosting service and you won't find anything like it elsewhere. Not only are the servers limited to just 50 accounts each, but you also receive our "Beep and Bump" service, which allows you to upgrade your plan at no cost.

What is Beep and Bump?

Beep and Bump is a new service, which allows you to upgrade your plan for free once your site starts to grow. You start at "Level-One" and can "bump" your plan up to the next level by simply "Beeping" us via a support ticket. The Beep and Bump levels are as follows:

Level-One - 500MB of diskspace :: 20GB of bandwidth
Level-Two - 800MB of diskspace :: 40GB of bandwidth
Level-Three - 1,500MB of diskspace :: 60GB of bandwidth

NOTE: In order to be bumped to the next level, you must be using at least 80% of your current level.

So how much does it cost?

The price is just $59.99 a year... but if you sign up with the coupon code 50off2009 you'll get 50% off the first year, making your new account just $30!

I'm curious as to the reasoning of why not just start out the 'premium' accounts at level 3's specs (1.5gb/60gb)?

I ask this since the traditional zensix accounts are similar in the specs (aside from the support and server allocations), but normally if I have a need for a 'premium' shared hosting its logical to assume that I'm going to need more than level 1 and possibly level 2 has to offer.

lol, I just answered this question on AIM a few seconds ago. Here's my response:

The beep and bump levels are really just to make my life easier. Lately about 1/5 of the large plans we sell end up being filled with warez. Lower diskspace levels keep them away and allow us to review the account before allowing more space.... So starting everyone off small lowers the chances that I'll wake up to a cracked copy of CS4 being download from the server.

With that said, if you need to start at a higher level, it can be done.

PS - If any of you were on the BETA server... that's the same one that will be used for the first 50 of these new accounts. It's DA2 on the server status page: http://zensix.com/clients/serverstatus.php

The next three people to claim one of the new plans by posting below will get an extra year added to their account for free.

Again, this is just for the first three people who claim them by posting below. You'll claim your extra year by submitting a ticket to sales and pointing them to this thread (include your wf name in the ticket).

I'm getting a lot of questions about the level limits and what's allowed. People are wanting to know if they can get more bandwidth since the server has fewer people, they want to know if it could replace a VPS, etc...

The whole point of this is to keep the server undersold. You're paying a premium (which is still a lot less than most companies charge for their oversold servers) to be on a server that doesn't have a lot of people.

You're still bound by the same resource limits as the normal plans we have. If I allowed everyone to use three times as much resources as the other plans, it wouldn't really be undersold, it would be equal to a server with 150+ people. Make sense?

So don't think you can bring some crazy resource heavy site over and it won't cause problems. This is still shared hosting.

I hope that clears up some of the confusion.

I'd like to claim the #3 spot for an extra free year.

It's yours, just submit a ticket to sales after you order and point them to this thread.

That's it for the 3 plans with 1 free year. Please don't PM me asking if you can get an extra free year (except for the one person who I already talked to).

Okay, for those of you who have been wanting them for a while now, dedicated IP's WILL be available for these new plans and they will be easy to get. The price will be $24 a year (we won't accept monthly payments).

Please keep in mind that the old cPanel plans are a different price ($36/year) and are only approved for SSL certificates (because of the datacenter).

I'm super busy over the next few days, but I'll set up an option to order a dedicated IP soon.

(For those of you wondering why I would even bother making a post about dedicated IP's being available, it's because IP's at DimeNOC were terribly hard to get (which is where all of the cPanel accounts are hosted). They would only approve them for my clients that need SSL certificates and they monitored the IP's monthly to make sure they were still being used for that purpose. In short, they were IP nazis.)

Do you offer dedicated servers? If so PM me...

Not at this time, sorry.

On a side note, we have a new design. So...

The first person to use the coupon code newdesign will get $35 off the first year of one of the new DirectAdmin plans.

The above code can only be used once. But the 50off2009 code can be used by everyone else to get $30 off the first year.
