Hi everybody
Great forum, thanks for the help. I have been reading everything here.

I'm a newbie at affiliate marketing, and planning my first set of campaigns. I have purchased the domain, decided which CPA I'll use, did my keyword research, and did quite a bit research about google quality score. I'll only use Google Adwords for my first campaign. Even though I've searched a lot, I'm still not 100% clear about linking techniques. Here are my questions.

Is there an article, or forum post which goes in detail about loner, iframe, direct linking, and work horse methods? (pros and cons).

I'm planning to create a landing page for my campaign, and I thought direct linking was linking from your PPC campaign directly to the advertiser's landing page, what I'm confused now, because I read people talking about direct linking on their own landing pages.

I'd really appreciate if somebody could point me to the right direction about linking methods.

Thanks in advance

Direct linking is linking to the vendor's landing page directly from your PPC ad.

Now, I'm no pro so someone correct me if I'm off. But...
I figure that some people could also the term "direct linking" to mean not masking your affiliate links on your landing page. When you hide your links from your landing page to the vendor (for example, by using a PHP header() redirect), you help your quality score a little because the QS bot checks for direct links to affiliate offers on landing pages and docks you accordingly.

Thanks a lot for your reply. It is way more clear now. For linking I'll be using a PHP Redirect.

I know it all depends on person's experience and it needs a lot of testing to achieve successful campaign for beginners, but I have another question:

What are the pros and cons of iframe method? I read people getting lower ROI with iframe compared to landing page > advertiser. I'd appreciate some info, thoughts about this.

Wow, I've been learning a lot on this forum, I'm glad I found it :)

Thanks again
