Wow, I just realized this site converts the addresses for you. I was actually trying to just put the text up without a link. Trippy!

Good luck to those are taken advantage of this generous offer, more importantly wish you seasoned ebusiness man...MUCH patience and a big cup of strong coffee...

...now let's get back to work :1bluewinky:

You mean I don't have to buy another product from CB?!!!

I really appreciate it Mike. Eager to learn and contribute.

I'll take MUTTUALFUND.COM

Ok, I'm writing conent and getting ready to start posting some things up. I've got some affiliate links picked out for my niche. (I'm a big planner). On my list as a high priority is a 'link campaign'. Other than the usual methods of putting it in my sig, submitting to directories, writing articles, etc., what am I missing?

Also, is there any directories that are better than others?

Last question: Paying someone to do directory submissions. (I've seen some good reviews on some folks on the For Sale forum) Is it a good or bad thing to do? Will I see a bump in traffic from this? If so, how effective are they and how many should I buy? Honest feedback here.

If my priorities are out of whack, let me know. What is everyone else doing as their first steps?

Did you get a pm already? I didnt.

No, but I'm using a domain I already owned. I see Mike put my name on the one I mentioned earlier but I posted again and said I didn't need a domain. I just went ahead and got started. :)

Fuck yeah! There could not be a better place for me to make my first post. 7 days ago I made a commitment to market online for a living. I've been reading 8 hours a day getting prepared and I think now is the time. Sign me up for....

IGOURMET.ORG --> XraymikeK

I'm ready to go and make some $$$. The plan:
(1) Set up multiple subdomains using YACG (thanks busin3ss, for invaluable info).
(2) Create 1 master domain and use longtail sub-category keywords in each other domain
(3) Creatively link domains using nofollow links in certain places to form pyramid type mininet with master domain in center. (thanks, some 4 yr old free ebook.)
(4) Create blog accounts here and there and post a few times a day to each w/ original content + link to each of my internal pages. (and then when I see the formula works, buy a tool to do this for me...)

I will monetize by placing adwords on each page and relevant CJ links (Just signed up today...) on the master domain page.

Thanks in advance to all who post smart shit here and to the asshats as well.
Most importantly, GIGANTIC thanks to SEO_Mike (who may have posted in every thread I have read to date...) for giving me my first crack at making a buck.

Yeah, Bitches!!! Let the games begin!

sup guys: i'm a newb to this but have been suckin down info for past week or so on it. i've joined moreniche, clickbank, and copeac programs. made one am squidoo lens and acquired one domain for use later (after noobness wears off XD ). i'd appreciate any help at all, even if it's just "read this or that article you worthless asshat noob"

obviously, the more the better : | what's a good way to begin?

Hey Mike,

I've been lurking around the forums for a while and would like to participate using secureloanfacts.com

Thanks!

Well: I'm an uber-newb still, but i'll take realstudentloans.com. of course, free domain aside, i'd totally appreciate any help, suggestions, advice, etc. even if you point me in the direction of a starter guide or something. so far i'm signed up with moreniche, copeac, and clickbank. also got a lens done and a blog (which sux still), about to work on another blog to link to my lens, etc etc. any help? thx! see all u around the forums

Ok, I'm not seeing a bunch of activity here lately. Hopefully everyone is working on their sites and not lurking on the forums. hahaha

Thought I would list what I have done so far.

- Installed some blog software (if for nothing else, an easy way to manage the pages and content).

- Started researching some keywords that I hope are 'niche enough' to let me rank high for some search traffic.

- Started pulling together some content from various sources (mainly article directories that I'm reformatting and rewording).

- Started submitting the site to some social bookmarking sites/directories, etc.

- Started the signup process for neverblueads and copeac. (That was just this past night).

The work I have done so far isn't what I would consider a large amount of each item but I have taken steps to get started and I have a plan sketched out on paper that I intend to stick to.

Soo, benevolent guides, am I on the right track?

Sorry I've been AWOL guys. That's one of the problems with running a business and trying to moderate Wickedfire. They're both full time jobs.

Anyhow, everyone that has claimed their domain has been noted. I'm off to set up the accounts now. Be patient please.

BTW, to clarify the money thing...you only have to make $1 (minimum) to be able to buy your domain. If you make more than $100 in the first 30 days, I will give you the domain.
