Noob: Overwhelmed w/ amount ofWF info, where to begin?

Hey all,

I'm new to the whole make money online thing, actually I was on hiatus for 8 years. Basically, I've been reading the forum for a couple weeks now and there is so much information, and it is overwhelming, I don't know where to begin.
I guess what I'm asking is to all of you who have been in the business for awhile now, if you were a noob now what would you take. What would you skip? I'm not looking to get rich out of this whole thing. Ideally I would like to set something up that doesn't require to much day to day upkeep. I realize there's going to be a few dickrolls for this post. so here's some boobs for your troubles.

There are infinite answers to your question. No matter what you do, it will involve getting traffic. The two general choices there are PPC (purchased traffic) or SEO ("free" traffic that only costs you lots of time).

Which of these sounds like you?
 
Presently SEO makes the most sense out of the two general choices. I think I just need to start trying some things, cause that's the only way to find out what works and what doesn't work. Thanks.
 
ppc is usually quicker to make money, but can die fast also. SEO takes a lot of time but as long as you're consistent, can usually be sustained;.
