You sir need to lower your expectations. "Meditation" is a hard keyword to get.
Try a slightly more long tail one.
submit to directories, comment on other blogs, and do what I described above and it will start to help.
Come back when you've got a handle on those and we'll see what we can do.
Oh yeah. also, when you're doing all that make sure the keyword you're after is the keyword they link to you with. Pick 2-3 and rotate em around a bit.
Stay away from directly purchasing links for now. Doing that without getting your butt handed to you is a little trickier.
