I'm looking for a slightly more social entrepreneurial project than my current model of seoing affiliate shit.
I'm also about to saturate 3 of my sites with #1 positions and I need a hobby to work on for the next year or so.
The sites bring me enough income so now I can afford to spend money on developers and shit to get to work.
I want to be the yelp of a certain profession, basically allow end users to review the service provider, and to list service providers as individuals with the google map location, qualifications, speciality areas and a few other industry specific questions.
The difference is I will offer a tonne of industy specific advice, and other than just being a review site, I will add a lot of extra value on the side as well.
I was wondering whether there are existing scripts out there for this..
The niche I'm looking it closely resembles something like a masseuse service, there will be independent masseuse listed on site, and I will encourage them to sign up and charge them for the lead from interested parties, obviously they will make lots of money on long term clients so I will charge them a fair amount something like $100 per lead.
I will also seo and target [industry keyword] + city.
Will probably just target on one city inside my county and then after saturation expand out to other large cities.
Are there any scripts out there that can help me do this.
I'd prefer it to be not wordpress for the first time. Because wordpress keeps getting updated and I know for a project like this I will need to do a lot of custom modifications to get this to work. In the past customising wordpress has been a bitch, because I have to get my programmer to rehack to make the modification work on each wordpress update.
Also has anyone done this before, I understand this will be slightly more difficult than working with affiliate gigs with ecommerce, cos this might end up with all sorts of headaches from dealing with people for once.
