Offshore Hosting Companies

Hi guys

I'm looking for info on offshore hosting companies. Experiences, pros/cons etc.

Not looking to do anything illegal - purely looking for a lot more privacy and security....and yes, I realize that will never be 100% possible, not with government information sharing as it is these days, but would still appreciate any input anyone with actual user experience has had.

But yea i wouldn't know anything about BP hosting of course. just, uh, heard about it from some friends and abuse & netsec reports [:

not only hostign country matters but the way u get hositgn itself [payment mode to the company].
for small 1 domain sites i let people host em on my dedi for small monthly fee. mainly if u go for 'offshore' always go for dedi - other way u may get problems s due to osmeobdy hosted on same box as u.

I am with bulletproofvps and I am very happy with them, you can do pretty much everything and the host can't be shut down from anything.
