I am a Flames fan and did not like to see Phaneuf get traded.

But why would you replace shitty Toskala's expiring contract, with another shitty goalie who's going to get paid $7 mill next year? Giguere is done...he's been shit the last two years. Toskala's expiring contract had value...I'm sure they could have traded it at the deadline for some decent prospects.
