Threat of outsourcing might make a good disciplinary tool. Kids are too jaded to buy into all that "Santa is watching" crap, but many no doubt have seen their friends' lives devastated when Daddy's job went to Bangladesh.
"Son, you're pretty good with a computer ... why don't you Google me up the American consulate in Rangoon? Oh, you do eat peas ... my mistake."
