I've applied to overstock three times and have been declined. Not sure what their problem is with my site, I'm gussing not enough traffic. I'm working on that!
Maybe I can get in now.
 
Pretty lame, feel bad for people in NY..
 
Lets hope this dies and doesn't spread to the whole US. I'd hate to have to move Amsterdam. Or maybe not.
 
I was a member of the program and got dropped because of this whole NY thing. Wasnt doing much volume anywhoo.

Sorry you guys in New York are getting burned, but just bear in mind you're not getting burned by Overstock and any other company that gets out of the state. You're being burned by the stupid douchebags you keep voting into office. Look at the latest thing with the Goldman Sachs development in Manhattan -- it's off, the taxpayers are out hundreds of millions of dollars, and the media blames GS when the whole thing is falling apart because of a sweetheart deal that Pataki put together knowing it would never fly, but assuming it wouldn't go to shit until he was out of office (and he was right on both counts.)
