Okay, I've got a good blog in a competitive health niche w/ medium traffic (1000+ uniques/day), targeted traffic, etc.

I am currently making a little with Amazon affiliate sales. I am also a member of Commission Junction but I don't really see any good products that match up with my niche very well and I've had little success with what I have tried.

Anyway, I wanted to get into some of the better CPA networks such as Hydra, Neverblue, COPEAC and some others that I have read about.

So I actually applied to Hyrda. I never heard back! And I think the reason is that I have no banners or sidebars whatsoever on my site. (My Amazon affiliate links are all with text.) Nor do I have a mailing list. So I'm afraid no one will take me seriously.

Any advice? How can I get into these networks? Do I put up a banner or sidebar just for the sake of putting up one?

at the bigger networks it may be difficult to get through to someone you don't have a direct extension to. Poke around on LinkedIn and if necessary JigSaw.

Sign up with me. We have a few solid health/ diet related offers. Hit me up on AIM. I would be happy to check out your site and give you a few options.

Hydra is easy. Just stop by the office, bring an original copy of your birth certificate, a notarized letter of recommendation from Barack Obama, and 1-2 dozen donuts.
