I dont even have time to figure out the costs. Dual Xeons, ECC DDR3, Huge Powersupply(s), solid state boot drive, raptors for applications, Crossfire or SLI, Watercooled, insane.

They always are, I have a new Dell I7 8 gig 500SATA laptop coming..I expect it to be good for about 1 year. But in that year I will enjoy it.

I have a Tyan board from a few years ago, dual Opterons, 8 ECC DDR1 slots, dual x16 PCIe, dual gigabit LAN, etc.

Definately behind the times now as you mentioned but it is still a cool board to look at either way.
