i feel bad for that health drink guy. he's probably slightly mentally retarded and he's down $1500 with nothing to show for it :-/

Almost all of these biz opp seekers buy the dream, not reality. It's unfortunate but there is money to be made.

Fucking MLM

I have some friends caught up in this MLM shit. It's sad to see them wasting so much time and effort on something that won't pay off, but I don't want to be that guy who tells them their dream is bullshit. So I just ask questions like "Have you broken even yet?" and they always look kind of dejected but try to fake optimism like "No, not yet, but it's looking really good about 3 months from now. And from there the sky's the limit!"

I could teach them some shit that makes them some profit right away, but you can't force it on them.

I used to do MLMs before i got into internet marketing. Never made a ton of money myself but i know someone who was doing 6 figures with a telecom MLM(that ended up going bankrupt lol)... Then again hes doing a lot better now that hes working for himself.

I knew a guy who was so into this bullshit that if you replaced the 'MLM company' with 'Allah' you couldn't of told the difference between him and a Taliban terrorist. If he had just a little more healthy skepticism he would of made it in life, he definitely had the heart and drive to pour everything into this juice company which didn't have any juice yet. ('don't worry about that though, we're just working on our diamonds' lol)

I tried pointing him in the right direction, he reacted the typical way people do when you tell them their dream is bullshit. The brain shuts down, their emotions kick in, they retaliate and keep living their lie.

Yeah I've had friends try to convince me of their "business" and when I explained to them it's complete bullshit they refuse to listen....months later they stop talking about it when they finally realize the truth.

Yup, MLM people are like hard-core religious people, when they find out that they've been wrong they get all introvert...

Love it, all we need is Penn & Teller to make a "bullshit" about affiliate marketing if only to keep the tards away.

"By level 9 you will have every men, woman, child in the world plus 32 billion aliens"
