I haven't modded a forum since TutorialForums like 10 years ago... brings back memories.

I'd be up for the job, but I think there are better candidates.

just auto ban users who get downvoted 10x by users with 1000x posts or something. A community can moderate itself fairly easily, granted, this forum is vbulletin based so a bit of time/effort would have to go into coding the above, but it can be done.

Shit..

I wanted to write a bot for the longest time that gives me some lists like the above
- "thanks" posters
- members posting the exact same thing someone else said
- one letter x.gif or x.png or x.jpg cookie stuffers
...

Just never getting around to it.

PS: And yes, I monitor all I can, but manual spamfighting will only get you so far. Especially when the best tool ever "one touch ban and clean" results in breakage quite often.
