I've create a few phpbay sites in the last couple months. Today I noticed a few of them are deindexed.

Now, could it be that they are sandboxed or are they toast?

I thought sandboxed sites would still show in the index but not rank well. These new sites don't even appear in the index anymore.

I have some pretty decent content on a couple of them so I didn't think they would get deindexed. The one site has 5 or 6 good articles on it and they are 300-700 word articles.

Thanks for any advice.

PHPbay sites have really been hit hard lately which was kind of expected due to its popularity. It's not out and it probably never will be because its a good technique but you do have to change some stuff up and give it some uniqueness to succeed at it. You can't just cookie cutter it like every other standard install of it out there. So make some changes. Hell make a lot of changes to new sites you produce. Let the old ones do what they will and don't let them become footprints for your new phpbay sites. If they come back they come back there isn't shit you can do about it now except keep building them.

I'll also throw an alternative at ya

I have six or so high traffic ebay sites built off of my own script. One was deindexed, and it was the one that was my highest producer in $$$$, but not highest in traffic from google (it's right in the middle). I was wondering what happened, but a couple of days later someone offered to buy it, so I'm like F it! I'm sure he'll be happy with his de-indexed site.

My BANs sites all got deindexed over a months time. From x,XXX to zip, but that is the way the interwebs roll. You have to be ready with the next thing to make money in this game.

Get a custom template ASAP. Change it up and you'll last much, much longer.

Any chance in hell to get it re-indexed or should I just get a new domain, new template and re-create the site with more content?

Big G is really hypocritical considering the people visiting my sites are happy with what they were finding because they were buying. So how can G decide my content is not relevant to my visitors. It's enough to really piss one off when you have crappy MFA sites like answers.com and about.com get to stay in the index.

I have a large network of phpBay sites (100+) that I setup sometime around June. They all lasted for a couple months, I would say in August about 3/4 of them were deindexed. After that happened I took my focus off them for a while and just worked on other stuff. In the past couple weeks I have setup 2 new batches of sites, and almost all the sites were deindexed in the first few days they were up.

In the 2 new batches of sites I setup, I used different themes, removed lots of WP and phpbay footprints, removed google products like adsense and analytics, tried doing less backlinks out of the gate, pretty much everything I could think of and it didn't seem to matter. I'd love to find a solution to this problem as well.
