PhpBay vs BANS. Who wins in your opinion?

I realize it's phpbay vs. bans for the theme of this thread but once McJiffy got mentioned I really figured someone would mention a homegrown solution. It's the only way to be free to do whateverthehell you want. No help tickets, no price for admission ... just you, notepad and 20 minutes.

Is there really nobody else at WF that uses the ebay developers api like I do? Or are we mostly scripting illiterate around these parts?

Side notes:

1. Way to automate bb ... 100 sites in 100 minutes is quite awesome. All subdomains / subfolders? surely you didn't have time to set up hosting & lease out 100 of them. If so, even more impressive.

2. Monty, you've got my vote (sig). Everyone else sucks and I just heard that Romney is probably the VP choice for my party.

I don't code off of the API but WP+Feedburner+eBay advanced search cranks out the sites very quckly -- not 100 in 100 minutes, but from research to theming to configuring is pretty much a couple of hours of work and I'm done -- content and such take more time to add but the basic framework generates traffic, and it's usually easy to tell early on which sites are worth investing additional resources into.
