phpMyAdmin - Setting user privileges so I can delete database

I'm trying to delete some databases through phpMyAdmin, but it won't let me. There is no option for me to DROP the database, I can only drop tables within the database. Now I would think that because it is my server and I log in as Admin that it would let me delete a whole database, but it won't. How do I set my privileges to allow me to create/delete databases?

EDIT: I'm using control panel is DirectAdmin, btw. Not sure if that info is needed or not.

Have you tried logging into phpmyadmin as the MySQL root user? (btw its 'root' on mysql)

Are you using a control panel of any specific type for the hosting itself?

You have to grant the MySQL user the correct privileges outside of phpMyAdmin. There should be an option somewhere in your control panel.
