PKM or EWA?

this is a reasonable claim if you're good. there are people here who have done mid-5 figure days easily.

Sure, but they are not "complete noobs when it comes to affiliate marketing" probably and he also says he "nearing" it, i.e. now. being complete noob

In berry/google bizops time, maybe)

I use and love both networks. All this crap about late payments, shaving etc etc with PKM has not been the case for me. They've been on time, and my epcs are consistently higher on offers that i've split tested among multiple networks.

Without PKM's weekly on-time payments i wouldn't have the cashflow to continue spending and profiting at first.

Seriously, what's with the BS on Yousif's computer security services that what, like he attempted something like 4 years ago. Seeaarriously it was fucking 4 years ago and has absolutely nothing to do with his affiliate network, IM, him paying out or anything.

Personally you have to give the guy credit for just trying to start a business in college, I am sure a lot of people here wouldn't have the motivation or desire to do shit. Yet I see a bunch of crap on and on about some bs stories about some lame crap that he did again 4 years ago.

The mcgrew guy, sole purpose of his blog is to create this big name for himself, when in reality he's about clueless as anyone else on stuff. Just like anything else, I would read only partly into it, and clearly the guy has a bone to pick wiht Yousif ./

Hi, Yousif.

EWA would be the better choice. There is a larger track record and there have never been any problems with payments. Yosif sounds like a real tool bag. Isn't he like 17 as well?

I don't have experience with PKM, but my first experience with EWA was a bit of a disappointment. I wasn't that bad, but I was expecting too much, after trying for months to get in while reading Ryan's tweets and great reviews from others and seeing their tons of interesting offers and high payouts on offervault.com. I did get accepted two weeks ago and started right away with one specific campaign. The first 2 days were quite good, but on the 3rd day, the conversion rate crashed (3% to 0.01%).

I contacted my affiliate manager (Jared), but he didn't reply. After 3 unreplied emails, 5 days of waiting and never getting anything other than the standard welcome email from him, Ryan assigned me to Omar. Good and fast support by Ryan by the way! Omar is very helpful and responsive, but he couldn't help me with the conversion problem of my 3rd day. Although it looks clear to me that it's a problem on the advertiser side (either scrubbing or tracking, as EWA did track the clicks), I won't get paid for 4k wasted clicks. That's a bitter pill to swallow in my first week with them.

The second thing that bothered me are the payout options for international advertisers.
Checks - $50 threshold and no fee
Wires - $500 threshold and $22.50 fee
Paypal - $3000 threshold and $15 fee
International ACH's are not supported

Checks take at least 2 weeks to get to me and cost around $30 to cash. Neverblue for example does weekly direct transfers or PayPal without a fee.

On the other hand, EWA does have tons of interesting offers and guides and sends out great newsletters.

All in all, EWA is a good network, but it's not the perfect affiliate network. At least not yet :)

Hi, Yousif.

Sorry I am not Yousif. My point is, it's kinda of chickenshit to bring up stuff from 4 years ago that has nothing to due with IM , his affiliate network or anything.

He could of been the worst security professional in the world, but in terms of IM that means nothing...

Just saying.

In situations like that I would reach out to someone and have them setup a conference call with yourself, them and the merchant. Clearly there is a mixup in their tracking or something... At least that is how I handle stuff like that.

Hate to be a hater but...

My experience with PKM is: Applied > accepted > sent tax form > No response (profile was still saying tax docs not received) > Emailed 3 or 4 times over a couple of weeks > Aim'd Yousif > Aim'd the other contact off the website, told me to talk to Yousif > Aim'd Yousif again > No response > Decided I can't work with that and gave up on them. I would hate to think what communications would be like if you had a problem.

My experience with EWA is: Applied > accepted > sent tax form > Got a quick response from AM & Accountant > All setup and ready to roll.

As someone pointed out the payment methods for international affiliates at EWA aren't ideal but the standard offer payouts are generally higher to start with anyway which makes up for it. Also I'm pretty sure the paypal threshold is $700 not $3000 which helps.

Conclusion: Out of the two I'd recommend EWA.

I can't believe some of the dirt people are throwing around. If Yousif used to hack linux boxes when he was a kid, good on him, his coding skills are probably better than yours because of it. And as for Ryans cars and pad, who cares? If the communication and payments are good it really doesn't matter what he spends his share on.

Phew, feels good to get it off the chest!

I've done a lot of business with PKM and I've known Yousif since before he started PKM. He is a good guy, he just bullshits sometimes and may occasionally pay late. But when it came to big money I've never had a problem getting paid.

Can't speak for EWA other than I've been denied twice.

Young Taco... holla at me! lol
You gotta let me in one day. =D

Merry Christmas Everyone :D

It's the season of holidays, joy and thanksgiving.
To some, it may be a month of huge income for you depending on what you are doing/selling.

But for me, it's a terrible month.. and almost a dead month..
i have been promoting as an affiliate for a software for sometime and having little bit of success with record $300+ a day.

Recently i have been learning CPA and following offervault webinars. It is pretty exciting and definitely more flexible in terms of wide range of offers from different niches available. I believe in diversify and no harm in getting different streams of revenue instead of 1.

So i decide that i would like to venture into CPA(hope its still not too late) :D

After browsing through wickedfire, i have seen many good reviews and people recommending PKM and EWA. But considering it is my first CPA application, is it really suitable for a newbie for these network?

And there is some reviews that PKM is hard to get in, having waiting days for approval but without any news.. Anyone have experience and want to share on this?

Which is better? PKM or EWA? :D

ewa is better as compare to pkm with more professional and dedicated staff,,pkm hardly seems to care , don;t even bother to reply back and very lazy in paying there affiliates

I've ran with both. Never had issues in payment.

EWA has great service w/ their AM's; their guides are sometimes valuable.
I've split tested and EPCs are about the same.
Try Neverblue, A4D, etc...but consider these 2 networks too.

or adsimilis whom both networks broker all their gaming/dating from.

Good luck getting the type of service or the quality of ams Smax has at any other network. They (especially Smax) have gone above and beyond what any other network has ever done for me to the point I'd hit someone with a bat if Smax told me too.
