A good friend of mine is an artist and she's entered her portfolio to be considered for a $5k grant and a 3 month stay in NYC to show off her work. Please rate my friend's portfolio here, it literally takes 2 seconds (top right): Portfolio

Not sure how it works exactly but basically the entries with a lot of votes and high ratings will be considered for a $5k grant and a 3 month stay in NYC. There's also a $1k award based on the votes and ratings I believe.

Terrible. Fully abstract art is not art. I could splash a bunch of random colors on a page too, doesn't mean theirs any talent.

Anyways, rated 5 because I like this kind of thing.
 
lol Brad that's like me saying any idiot can slap some code together and call themselves a coder but we know how that goes am i rite? If you think you can slap a bunch of shit unto a canvas and have it come out looking like anything worth a shit you are really mistaken. She's had a few of her own shows and sold a few pieces for decent amounts as well as gotten recognition from a few people who know wtf they are talking about. Either way the pics don't do the work much justice to be honest, these are fairly large pieces and look amazing irl. When it comes to art you either like it or you don't I suppose. Not sure why you have to come in here running your mouth though like you're some accomplished artist. Something must be up your arse today.
