Pshh tell me how to get dating up. I been working with ben and i got a call with him in about 20 mins. Hopefully he will give me some good news

With everyone sounding like they're doing dating, no wonder conversions are dropping for those who do it. :) But I'm seeing drops in non-dating.

A large number of affiliates are bidding in the 52+ cent range and spending 5k+ per day. For some segments its even at $1.00+

If you are bidding high enough you will have seen your impressions rise at least 40% in the last hour.

This I don't doubt in the least but impressions in the Inbox are more valuable based on what you've said above. If we jack up our CPMs will we primarily be viewed in the Inbox or do impressions go up across the board site-wide?

The reason I ask is because if we increase CPM to hit the inbox and the poorly converting impressions are increased as well, it's like a negative sum game. What we make up in Inbox impressions by boosting bids is eaten up by less desirable placement.

I'm know the solution isn't to just raise the bidding. That I've proven, lol, but I'm just trying to gauge why conversions would be decreasing on a daily basis regardless of where our CPM is set. That's what I'm working on now. :)

Awaiting a answer on this as well.

There's still a bug in the gender targeting. Targeted male but got a lot of clicks from female (around 40%).

Why do I keep getting this on all my ads

System Administrator for reason: Incomplete Ad: The ad is missing information required to go live

Also Markus can you pm me Ben's email address he called me but I never received the email sent

Gender is not filtering. Have probably wasted hundreds, if not thousands, on the wrong impressions. That is huge. No wonder I'm spending more and making less! :)

This^

Will we be credited for money wasted on these impressions? If I had at least gotten an email about this technical difficulty I wouldn't have allowed my ads to continue running while I've been busy traveling and unable to view detailed traffic reports. (30% of male targeted ads are being shown to females while 60% of female targeted ads are being shown to males).

What other filtering wasn't working?

I'm sitting around 20% as well - I'd like to know if we are going to get a refund on these impressions too. For one of my campaigns it's making me break about even instead of being 20% profitable. 20% isn't that large of a portion but it is when it adds up and my ads are created specifically for males.

email ben at pof to sort stuff like that out.

I stronly suggest targetting females under 30 for something, looks like most of the bids are sitting at 20 cents, especially in canada and the UK.

As more affiliates pour in, bids are going to keep increasing and increasing until everything becomes unprofitable.

eh? would depend on your targeting, look at adwords - it's still profitable for many people. bit of a volume difference though. bids will go up, but it's not like you'll see $9 clicks
