Anyone else notice that traffic quality seems to be going down hill lately ... ?

Yo! Same here. I've been bidding over $0.91 on a Tight Demo with a 100 Log-count and now im getting 1 or 2 conversions a Day? WTF?

Everyone take about 20 seconds or less to think about why your traffic is crap lately...and no, it has nothing to do about the time of year.

Its Really not normal. I've been profiting for more than a week on a VERY TIGHT DEMOGRAPHIC and my CTR decreased by the minute. So, I increased my bid to $0.61 and the same shit happened. I've only been able to get conversions on a $.91 bid. Its either some Newbz is fckn up the cpm or some other shit going on.

Remember that the highest bids get placed on the top converting pages.
 
Ya... I'm getting the feeling there's a lot scrapers being used on the pof and probably at least a few bots created for the soul reason of driving up impressions on competitors. I'm seeing posts in some of the freelance sites now of people posting jobs for Plenty of fish accounts and account creating bots.

Ben, is there anything being done about this?

It's gon be nasty! The cpm is so messed up lately that i don't feel like advertising there anymore. It's part of the game so, i stay humble...

so tight demographic, profiting for a week... sounds like it just went stale.
 
I'm having accounts that have been in profitable for months (across different age ranges and countries ) going dead. I'll agree that even the best campaigns do eventually go stale ... but this can't account for all of it. Esp since CTR is heavily dropping all at once and no amount of new creatives seems to help this.
 
For the love of God...when are we going to be able to delete campaigns? It's gotten to the point where I can't even find what I'm looking for anymore. And no...clicking "Running Campaigns" doesn't help.

Meh, that's the nature of the business. The people who consistently are making money will continue to do so regardless of a slight CPM bump by noobs. If your demographic is priced beyond your ability to profit, try asking for increased payouts from your networks or take this as an opportunity to explore other niches.

They should only allow people with over $1000 to advertise there. Just Like Traffic Vance because it doesnt make sense anymore. CPA Networks are sending emails to their lists about how to advertise their offers on POF and once they start advertising, your CTR drops from 0.295% to almost 0.115%. smh...
Hope they are working on something.

I agree! Thats why i'll keep advertising there and hope that a TONS of people will leave POF because of the cpm crisis :D
