I would also like to hear a response to this..
Whenever I submitted any offer in the past that were branched off of the Singlesnet name, I would get my ads declined on the basis of Singlesnet being a free service - and that POF didn't allow it.

So - they were already unaccepted, but now they are unaccepted for double measure? :ugone2far:
 


Actually singlesnet offers used to be allowed.Almost alll my ads linking to singlesnet were approved,it seems like they decided that singlesnet is actually a free service right now or something happened on the singlesnet's part.

I think the main issue is that there is the main Singlesnet site, but also a lot of niche sites that are "powered by Singlesnet," so they are just banning the brand universally, sub-niches included.
 
It's happening again...

Has anyone else seen reporting freeze for the past ~hour or so? My spend hasn't moved in an hour -- I'm just waiting to see it explode up to some ridiculous number.
 
Ads aren't being served on the front end so you shouldn't see a monster jump out of nowhere. The timing is always horrible. This can't happen when someone's on watch during the day, lol?
 
Anyone know if there is a less reliable ad network out there? My stress level isn't high enough with PoF and I like to be completely mentally tweaked.

Yeah, it went down late last night and came back for about 4 hours. It crapped out again at 3:30am EST and I don't think they'll even be aware of it for another hour or so.

I'm wondering, with all the cash that's tumbling in, why they haven't yet set up some kind of 24/7 monitoring. You wouldn't need a human watching over it but someone could be alerted that they're losing hundreds of dollars an hour due to a server hiccup.

I'd be all over that if it were my network. I think Ben is outstanding, and I've never received better support from anyone I've worked with, give the man a reliable platform so he doesn't take the brunt of the frustration.

It's not you Ben, it's them. ;) Hope it comes back up soon!

Dude who cares move on to other campaigns. Traffic sources changing what ads are permitted is completely normal.

Have you never been thrown off an offer at a network with 0 notice? Or been capped? If your business relies on 1 advertiser and 1 traffic source, then you need to diversify, roll with the punches and stop bitching.

POF is the only traffic source that posts here, actively communicates to us, and has somewhat reasonable and fair guidelines. Who gives a fuck if they stop allowing a dating site that competes with their own?

ps - theres been a management change over at singlesnet marketing but not sure if this is related. think about alternatives if you rely on them.
