Just sign up under an alternate country, it'll have no impact on your ability to advertise.

Ben , incase you haven't noticed , I need to choose my country to be able to add funds to my account . So I cant add any funds to my account . Is it possible to add malaysia into your list so i can add my credit card funds ?

Hey Ben, why is my 728 creative not getting any impressions when I am targeting one specific city in Canada and my bid is at 27cents when I would normally get impressions with 10 cent minimums. Why is it not getting any imrpessions

Does anyone else notice that sometimes ctr can take a dive in just one day of running the campaign? Do I have to update my pictures and ads every single day to make a profit?

Just my opinion but I would say most people have not removed mobile traffic from their accounts yet which means the bids will be higher now then they will be later. Maybe If a mobile offer does not work now, It might still work later.

How the heck are you getting impressions below 30 cents? that has to mean there are no advertisers for the small ads. one 728 takes the space of 3 small ads with a min bid of 10 cents each. anyway don't you think someone else might be targeting that city also?? possibly a local advertiser.

728x90's take up the space of (3) 110x80's, minimum bid is $0.10 so you'll need to be north of $0.30 or get 0 traffic.

Look at CTR over the week (to account for morning/evening & weekday/weekend trends).

A couple of questions.

To get access to anything but the 110x80s I need to spend /add 1k$ to my cashier right?

Is there anything in place to 'protect' the max bidder? Like on facebook I know if I bid 1000$ per click and the 2nd highest bids 1$ i'll win and have to pay 1.01 (or something to that effect.) So is there anything of the same in PoF? Or will I just have to guesstimate what nets me the top spot (if that is my goal) and keep checking back to see if i keep the top spot?

Have decided to try out some PPC on PoF so will probably return with some questions as they pop up n_n

And there's no program in place to protect the max bidder, you pay what you bid.

$1000 deposit for the banners. I'll be posting some good info re: 110x80 ads in the next little while so definitely look out for that on our blog.. speaking of which:

New POF case study on Ads.pof.com Blog details how an affiliate made 4 figures using the 110x80 ads to advertise car insurance!

There is only a fixed cpm option on POF so you can't do that. You need to estimate and test your bids to find out the best performing one in terms of ctr and surely epc.

^ LMFAO <3

Gay traffic on POF is <1% of our traffic, so it's nor worth your time or ours.

POF Case Study #2: What Color Border Performs Best with Dating Ads+BONUS tip to extend the life of your campaigns! Ads.pof.com Blog

That was a pretty pointless case study imo as border color with border type make the biggest difference. I also have tested colored borders over the course of 5mill imps with different demos and ctr data doesnt match up with his. But I can also smell blog promotion from a mile away so I wont put too much effort into explaining what really works.

I wouldn't say pointless, it's meant to show people that small changes to your ads will have an effect on the performance. The guys who take this and do their own testing to find out what REALLY works, will be the ones that have gained the most from reading our post.

If you have a blog and want to run a POF case study, I have no problem driving traffic to your site :) We're all in this together so we might as well help each other out where we can.
