Pop up plugin for wp?

Can anyone recommend a nice (free) pop up / under plugin for wordpress? I found a couple around the web but people were charging more than I am willing to pay for them with limited functionality. If anyone can recommend something I'd appreciate it..otherwise I'll bang one out myself but I don't like to reinvent the wheel if i don't have to.
 


How do you want to use it, and what for?

Most JS popups can be used with WP with no problems.
 
I just want a simple pop under for affiliate ads whenever any page on the site is visited. If i could find one that rotates ads as well that would be cool but not too big a deal.
 
i saw it posted recently somewhere but cant remember the damn name of it....


..its basically the same thing as what popsup on backlinkwatch...lemme look around/try to remember..
 
^^That would be awesome if you could find it, i tried searching a few times and found one but it was ~$75 which is way too much imo..
 
Have a look at Meerkat. It's a jQuery plugin that does all kinds of cool tricks, including various types of pop up behaviours (popunder, fly-in etc.)

Type "lightbox" in the WP plugin dir and use any of them.

Just put 1 line of JS in the blog header to initiate an iframe version of the pop on page load.

lightpop wp plugin works very well. Creates a custom pop up window based on the lightbox image display plugin code.

Was made by mass-automation, but I don't think it is supported any longer, but still works very well.

I would upload link, but I'm new and never bothered to read the rules.
