I don't understand what is the problem if someone is using this tool to find keywords and selling some of the golden keywords to others? There is nothing wrong, illegal or unethical about it.

People are free to use this service and find golden keywords and then use that data any way they like. They might create sites, offer the keywords fo sale to others, or even start a keyword membership site. Really, there should not be any issue in that.
 


I have been noticing that some domains that it says are available are in fact already registered.

Has anyone else noticed this?

That said I have found some killer domains so far. So glad I got in at the low price.
 
I have just paid for the Position Sniper membership and I've been getting dozens of false positives.

Most of the results that show as available are registered.

I don't know whether a update occured because I'm new to the platform.

Can someone from the Position Sniper team give me some feedback?

I apologize to everyone for not responding sooner! I was out and about the last 36 hours and away from emails/computer.

We've been rolling out mini updates to fix little issues here and there and I am sure that is why everyone had such problems with false positives, we're doing an update to the domain checks to add back the .ORG's!

Everything should be working fine at the moment, if you have anymore issues, please post on the support forum!

I just tested all of the complaint searches and all domains seem to be checking just fine, but if you do experience more false positives, please POST ON THE SUPPORT FORUM! Our entire team monitors that forum, only I monitor this thread, so we can get you priority support by using the forum.

If you guys experience anymore problems, let me know.

.ORGs should be back any day now! :)

you do not need to whois check every .com , .net , .org etc. First you should simply DNS the domain, if it resolves, it's taken. If it doesnt, then check to see if theres a DNS record for it, then if there isnt, check if it's registered.

This would speed it up considerably i would think :)

I will probably buy it when you'd added a few more features. .uk checking is important, as is exporting.

@BackBanana - Thanks for the feedback. We are adding in more features, they're coming very soon, we're gonna release the new features with the .ORG checking any day, just finishing up testing. When we release the next version, the price will be going up, just so you know incase you wanted to get locked in.

Features that are coming and their status:

-CPC Data (100% done)
-Exporting (100% done, still testing a few pieces of it)
-Increasing the limit from 50 results to 100, eventually letting you choose (100% done)
-Filters for # of words in the query it shows in results (100% done)
-A few others...

Some awesome features we're currently testing internally that we are SUPER excited about:

-Built-in Rank Tracker! You'll love this. Track the ranks for your websites right within this tool, you can do keyword research, rank tracking, domain checking, and also adding competitive features!
-Competitive Analysis Tab! You'll be able to enter a search query like "cheap plastic forks" and it will take the top 10 URLs, display their current # of backlinks (AN ACCURATE NUMBER OF BACKLINKS! Not the crappy numbers from Yahoo Site Explorer you're used to...) and it will also check their Domain and Page Authority and run through a proprietary algorithm and spit out a number that will tell you how hard it is to rank for that term! This is amazing, trust me, it's working now, we're in the process of integrating it but we are making sure we get the infrastructure set with .ORG checking, CPC data, and the others.

I have bought Position Sniper a while ago and it had a lot of false positives back then.

However, the tool is now working GREAT! I was able to found a couple of EMD with 40k exact matches.

And it is even better in my country (Portugal). With only 1 search I was able to find 2 EMD in Portuguese with 10k Exact Searches, and trust me, I had been looking for it for months!

It is really worth it!

@alc - We have that in the roadmap, to expand it to 100. However, with the amount of domains we check on each pass, we are trying to make sure we dont break anything by going from 400 domain lookups to 800. It's quite a big jump and we want to make sure we get it done properly. Stay tuned!
 
It's definitely up. I have a few dozen users logged in at the moment and using myself! Try again and if you still have an issue, please post on the forums. I am trying to clean this thread up and use it for pre-sales questions, support is best to be posted on the forums!

hi I register yesterday and try to use today.

When I type the keyword

The getting result thing keep spinning and never get me a result more than 30 mins ? How long it suppose to be getting a result ?
 
All issues are fixed. We had a few server issues, and they are all now resolved.
