This could be a very valuable thread if those working in foreign languages answer here. I have a couple of excellent Spanish language domains and open to ideas on monetizing.
For whatever it is worth, we have an international campaign (JackpotCity.com) that is utilized by our top 'foreign' CPC affiliates, with landing pages in Spanish, German, French, Italian and English. Great success specifically in Germany.
I've just begun experimenting with PPC campaigns in Spanish - geo-targeting US, but for users set to Spanish as their preferred language in Google. Took 6 years of the language in school, but only remember the curse words. At the moment, working out how to generate the search phrases - split campaigns between English and Spanish or do Spanish only? Easy enough to get ideas for ad copy from those targeting Spanish speakers.
On a side note, I was able to get the #2 position for "dinero" for .10 in the Spanish language targeting in Adwords. Didn't convert worth a shit, but try doing that for "money".
