I just launched an offer and I'm having a difficult time getting it going my CTR is about 0.50 to 1.10 a day and I"m spending more then I'm making, but I was told to start out like that or I will have to spend a lot when launching a new campaign and then it I can slowly start to decrease my bids?

Can I possibly get some feedback from a super affiliate someone that is good with PPC?

Your CTR is bad if it is on search networks. Review your keywords and/or ad copy. But yeah, it's usual to lose money at the start before optimizing keywords / adjusting bids.

please don't use the word super affiliate.

Are you split testing your ads? CTR will usually be increased with split testing. Make 2 ads for an ad group, put the traffic to them eventually, and chose the better CTR. Then split test your better add (change headline, capitalization, one word)

Rinse and repeat until you a good CTR

Well I'm using 1 text ad for each keyword well for about 5 keywords, but there lateral keywords and my keywords are in the description and title with an ok quality score right now I'm using nothing, but exact terms and my CTR is still low it don't make much since I'm getting a ton of impressions right now its reading 0.70 and I'm having to pay out avg cpc of 1.22 to maintain position 5-8 sometimes its lower then that :(.

Thats what I was thinking its normal to lose money in the beginning, but how long does that go on for and how much do you generally lose when you launch a campaign?

PPC AD CTR Rate

If you are advertising on google I strongly suggest you opt out of there search partners (hotbot, ask, search portal). As I am almost positive that these only negatively effect your ctr rate as they generally have poor search traffic (in my humble opinion). I would also bid higher than you would normally so your ad will show higher in the paid listings (higher you are generally= better ctr). Also try using ad that repeat your main keyword several time all though not excessively.

You need to read more about PPC before you start losing money too much money. Even when you understand how PPC works, it's still tough (for me anyway). What are your impressions like? How many keywords do you have in your adgroup? Sometimes if you have broad keywords in your ad it will be seen by everybody and your ad might not be related to their interest so they won't click your ad and your CTR% goes down. With Adwords it's recommended to have not more than 25 keywords per adgroup. This might be a bad habit but I'm not usually concerned with CTR on yahoo since they don't penalize you, so I have campaigns that have been doing pretty well with a .01% CTR (I have many keywords in these adgroups).
