REVIEW
**REVIEW**
So I have spent the entire day looking over two linkwheel project reports - yeah, I'm anal...I look at EVERY aspect of the project for completeness. My brain is complete mush, but here is my honest review of this service:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Main link wheel:
• Main link wheel has 12 WEB2.0 properties
Report: Clean, well presented.
Layout: I ordered my main wheel "open" - check.
Anchor text: perfect on main wheel.
Images: I provided several images for use in the entire wheel, but it appears that one of the images was used 90% of the time throughout the properties.
Content: Each wheel (4 total) had its own seed article written and spun by the provider....There were several duplicate titles, and the main content was extremely similar within each wheel, and some spintax errors that came out as text junk in the article bodies... BUT I was able to correct/make adjustments to these because the username/pw is provided for each property. Still, something I really don't want to spend time doing on a Saturday.
URLs: Nearly all URLs contained the username - footprint issue that I am paranoid about. If there is someone out there that could randomize the usernames in such projects that would be awesome.
• Can be closed or open link wheel depends on what you would prefer
Delivered as ordered: OPEN
• Each property has 2 links - 1 to the main site and 1 to the wheel
Perfect
• Each of WEB2.0 properties will be bookmarked to over 30 social bookmarking sites and the RSS feeds will be distributed to 20 RSS feed aggregates
Bookmarking reports and RSS feeds all checked out OK, with the exception of one bookmark URL which was a dead link.
SUB WHEELS:
• Then we will select 3 sites to be used as buffer sites (mainly wordpress, squidoo and blogspot)
Anchor text: One of my subwheels had a small error in the anchor text, which is said to be in the process of being corrected.
Images: I provided several images for use in the entire wheel, but it appears that one of the images was used 90% of the time throughout ALL properties.
URLs: Same issue as described for main wheel. To clarify:
MAIN WHEEL: www.fromtheboat.wordpress.com, www.fromtheboat.blurty.com...
SUB WHEEL 1: www.takeitnow.wordpress.com, www.takeitnow.onsugar.com...
SUB WHEEL 2: www.eatshit.insanejournal.com, www.eatshit.webs.com...
SUB WHEEL 3: www.blowme.weebly.com, www.blowme.squiddo.com...
3 Subwheels:
• Can be closed or open link wheel depends on what you would prefer
Ordered subwheels closed - Perfect.
• There are 3 links on each of WEB2.0 properties on this link wheel. 1 to the main site, 1 to the buffer site and 1 to the wheel.
This is what took the longest to check. I had a diagram by my side to recreate the linking structure - it was perfect.
• Each of WEB2.0 properties will be bookmarked to over 30 social bookmarking sites and the RSS feeds will be distributed to 20 RSS feed aggregates
All bookmark URLs to the subwheels checked out. Good to go. Same with the RSS feeds.
Turn around time:
- 2 weeks
Delivered 2 weeks to the day - on time.
Communication: UN-FUCKING-BELIEVABLE!
These guys have an admin support cPanel what shows all aspects of your project. I inquired with them several times, and never had to wait more than 30 minutes for a reply. Awesome.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
My rating: 4 out of 5.
My suggestions: Spin the content MUCH better. The articles assigned to each wheel were PAINFULLY similar from one property to the next in the same wheel. Same goes for the Titles.
So.....Would I order this again? Yes...but would communicate my spinning requirements - that's my only real complaint with this service.
