Project Management Script

Looking for a project management script that isn't real complicated. Here is what's going on.

Got three people involved in a project - a researcher, a developer, and a writer. Basic concept is that the researcher researches, the developer makes the sites, the writer writes the content, and all three pitch in for promotion.

In the middle of that we also buy existing sites and rehab them. That means promotion, links, redesign, etc..

Need to keep track of it all.

Prefer it self hosted, but willing to deal with any of the web based ones that won't get nuts with pricing with 100's of projects.

Suggestions?
 


I use teamwork pm its good but its gonna be like 150 a month with unlimited projects

Looked at and tested a bunch of them. Used Comindwork and Central Desktop for some offline projects quite successfully. Played with some of those self-hosted free one's mentioned but found them a little buggy and disjointed. Projecturf has been looking pretty good lately to me for online projects, especially with it's integration with box.net and dropbox.
 
Looks like I'm going to be using project pier.

It's just right for what I'm doing. And I DO LIKE 37 signals stuff - but it's just to costly for this for what we need it for.
