Yeah I didn't want to come across as negative I looked into it and well I hope that more players do sign up. I'll give it a shot with PPC. I personally have been playing for 5 years now, have played on pretty much ever site before the legislation, and even played 3 events this year in the WSOP. I guess I just question paying a subscription per month. I hope it does work out. It seems interesting to say the least. Seems like they have a lot of tournies and free-rolls. I like how the site suggests that they don't gurantee you will win money but that you won't lose more then the fee, ahahhaa. So its pay for play. Let us or me know when you make a big score on one of those tourneys though. You have made a big score with the guys you set up so I guess everything else is a freeroll :)

Chicago I agree as a heavy poker player on poker sites i wouldnt sign up for betzip either. Its to slow to win (or lose). However i wouldnt sign up for a free ipod or ringtone either. My post was to let people know about an alternative that was ripe.

On Monday I got back from Vegas, logged in to Party Poker and was shocked that I couldnt play anymore. I searched all over the net to find who would accept me (I guess I am a online poker crackhead). I found out Full Tilt and Stars will still accept you in. Not sure how long that will last but i signed up on FTP. Then my marketer brain kicked in and said "heres an opportunity" I marketed both bet zip and FTP on Google. My FTP ads lasted about a day before google kicked them off for content. I would suggest marketing all side of this poker vertical that you can. There are a lot of lost souls out there who were abandoned by Party Poker and others who need to find a home.

I will say my FTP account did much better. If i spent $1 i Made $10. However i lost all my ads on adwords due to content. If i had a content page before my AFF link i might still have ads. However I am to busy to work on somethign like this. Someone can do very good if they made a Poker Review site for US users. offer them links to all the sites they can sign up to (FTP, Stars, BetZip, and others) and good copy selling them on why they should sign up. Traffic is cheap on the search engines and searches are up. (those of you who want it all figured out for you on how to make money READ THIS POST AGAIN)

I saw partypoker.net still advertising on TV... is something in the works?

Doubt it. Old Media such as TV is slow. They probably havent been able to take all the ads down. Originally PP was going to stop taking US players more towards the end of 2006. I guess they changed their mind and did it this week.

I'd also agree about the whole Party Poker stuff. I think right now a lot of the reasoning behind them dumping this market is that they are publicly traded company on the London Stock Exchange. PokerStars recently recended their IPO offer which means to me that they are looking to stay the course well unless until the Iron Fist comes after them. When I ran my affiliates it was like 3/1 party poker to other sites. So for me them dumping US cost me a lot. And I don't think they will come back here for the time being.

mkrongel,

Thanks for your assessment of the poker stuff and BetZip. Do you know if they are based in the states? I'll spend some time working on some things and see how it turns out. I do have a domain already registered that would work perfectly with this offer. I did sign up yesterday with Copeac.com and was impressed with the magnitude of offers they have.
I have played on all of the sites and am pretty impressed with FullTilt and now ironically enough they are #2 in the market.

Also, I like to add that a lot of these poker players are going to be looking to do something else with there time if they can't play. This is one of the reasons I found this site. Which sucks for you guys cause I am going to rule the world eventually, hahahaha (note the sarcasm) But in seriousness I bet you will get an influx of guys looking to make alternative money online now since they don't have 80 hours a week to spend 12-tabling on PartyPoker.

There is a load of poker sites still taking Us based players.

The ones who have jumped out of tha market are mostly public trading companies that need to apease there share holders ie partpoker 888 etc.

Full list of poker rooms still accepting players here and all are legitimate poker sites with well run poker affiliate programs.

US friendly poker rooms.

Im tired of America's obsession with online poker. I kinda support the ban.

Way to get that post count up, bro! :)

I started a page today and have been doing ads on 7search so far so good. I think my site looks pretty good for what they are offering nothing to fancy spancy. Hope it works out.

The US gov't really has to be clear about what they are disallowing from the US markets. At this point in time, the whole thing is pretty unclear. I'm sure in the near future we will have a more simplistic definition of what is and is not allowed.

Going back to the main subject and website, Copeac.com.. Maybe I have worked in the adult industry and been burnt to many times but any site that wont tell me what I am going to make upfront I stay away from. Being new to "mainstream" do you all find this to be the norm?

how can they tell you what you are going to make? They have like a 100 different offers. Maybe I don't understand what you're saying.

What percentage they pay if it is revshare, or how much they pay per lead or sign up. Even if it is just a broad figure, something is better than nothing.
