Prosper202 Anyone?

Hey everyone, first post here, been hanging around the forums for a while but jumping into the action now, first post being a problem I have encountered!

Anyone else using prosper202? I have been trying to get my head around it for days, I have installed on a dedicated windows server, managed to finally to get it all set up, but when I go to log in, all I get is a HTTP 405 error saying 'Method Not Allowed'.

Whats this about man?

Any help greatly appreciated!

Yeah, still waiting for a reply but granted I am being a bit impatient as I only asked yesterday Just looking to get it all up and running as I've been trying for long enough

It's probably something really simple and I'm just being stupid, I've noticed it says on the 405 page

Most likely cause:

• The website has a programming error.

So whether I've not uploaded something correctly, who knows!

I will sit tight on the prosper202 forum reply but if anyone has any clues on here, it would be great to hear

Appears to be an IIS issue.. here's a few links I found on Google.. Might be worth seeing if any of them might help. The first one seems like a good place to start.

You may consider to use apache if you're looking for a quick fix.

Do many people here use prosper202 anyway or is there something else out there that does just aswell?

Ok great stuff will take a look into all this now, I seemed to think it was an IIS issue but after going over it all thought it looked ok, but at the end of the day I'm no expert with IIS Will take a look now, cheers for your help, will keep you updated!

Ok, done a little more digging around thanks to the links provided by texic, had a go at a few things and still no luck.

I turned off the Friendly HTTP Error Messages in my browser to see what error it through up and it all it says to me is 'Incorrect function'.

Does this make anymore sense to anyone to as to what it might be?

I will keep scanning through google for now and see what else I can find!

Still stumped on this man, the googling is coming to nothing now, just end up on the same old sites!

Any recommendations for other tracking software that is just as good?

I have installed on a dedicated windows server

We've had some issues with running prosper202 on windows, it hasn't worked for the other several people who have tried it. We recommend running it on the LAMP stack (linux apache mysql php), try getting raid of the windows server, and see what happens
