Has anyone ever used one of these Slice N Dice services that will take your .psd and create the CSS/XHTML? If yes, anyone that you recommend?

I've never used the services myself, (since I'm usually hired to do it example : Elite Profit Slice Demo ), but I've heard mixed opinions, from one person they charged bout the same I did, but delivered a straight slice-to-html export from image ready, which made editing or moving stuff around difficult and the file size was very large since it was mostly blocks of images. But then from another guy who used someone else ( I don't remember who ), he was just fine with it, but he sent them a simple 4 page site.

I guess it's a matter of who you go with, and how flexible you need the end result (as well as how picky you are bout load time).

Do yourself a favor and pay Kblessingr. Hes a pleasure to work with, very talented, and detail oriented.

You can pay someone in India to do, and have them fuck it up and deal with all the back and forth shit from different time zones or if you're serious about having it done right, like I am, just pay Karl.

We can also offer this service. We do regular PSD to XHTML/CSS and also WP and some custom work. There are only a few of us and we try to work with a small number of designers that we can get to know. We are not all in boxes in a sweaty office with no idea what a client wants. We have done now many jobs for blogs and landing pages so we understand the things you want for 'semantic content' and for being able to change a design for your testing. We also pay attention to detail and never dump slices to bad html. We look for transparencies, shadows, hard to see backgrounds and other tricky things that many people miss and our code is compliant and 'flexible' as it can be for a design. It is a good service really. You can talk with us at contact@psd2htmlpdq.com or see our site (that is not too old yet) here - PSD 2 HTML PDQ. We can give you example work to show our work, we give a discount on the first job and you do not pay until you are happy :)

We are not from India but most of us are not from America. We work with one American who emails and talks with clients. He checks our code and writing to make sure there are no dumb English errors. So if my English is not perfect do not be scared!
