Question about WP and the way my serps are for my site

I'm using WP and wp seo by joost, and whenever I see my site in the serps it comes up like 'title by domain domain' and looks really odd. It should display like 'title by domain' but it does not look like that when I see my pages in the serps.

In the actual post/page setting, WP Seo shows the result how I would expect it to be in the serps, but in actualiyt, the results are shown like the above in the results, what do?

Your plugin must be overriding the default settings in WP. I'd recommend All In One SEO and put in your home page title and description from the plugin settings.

I second AllBizNiz and reccomend all in one seo plugin, thats the only plugin you will need for a new site

I was using aio seo but then i switched to the other plugin WordPress SEO Plugin - Yoast - can't remember if they were like that before I switched, I will wait a week or so, and then post back and see if they've changed.

Are you using the default TwentyTen theme?

"Robots Meta" by Joost de Valk - this will enable you to enhance what the search bots are indexing when crawling your site. Once installed, go to the settings tab for Robots Meta and select how you want your content indexed. For example, having Google index the dates and times of your posts really isn't that helpful, so check the boxes that will prevent this information from being indexed.
