Question for the Gurus...Where should a newb start?

Don't believe the SEO "Guru's".
It's simple, create a site that people want to see, and write.

All this SEO BS is pointless if the site is packed with copypasta from sponsors. Google is about to destroy all those affiliate blogs who use it, and those who have original copy will rise to the top.

2. Find a hosting platform
3. Install Wordpress
4. Write a 100 page article.

I would add...

5. Keep posting ORIGINAL content

Then in six months time when you have a whole site of genuine content, think about exploring changes for SEO, if you need to.
 


Everyone thinks there's some kind of cookie cutter formula. What you want to do is figure out what you're really good at and exploit it as effectively as you can. When I got in I was already a hacker / coder so I leveraged coding really really heavily at first. I still do actually.
 
It depends what you have already learned.

For instance if you are good at coding you can build some online service website.
If you are good at social marketing then find something around this area.

If you know what is link building and affiliate marketing then go for website and backlinks.

We all start differently and it doesn't matter where you will start because I have changed my direction for some few times already and think that there will be new things in my life from time to time

Good copywriting isn't easy nor quick. Advice like this is why 95% of the people selling content in the BST section can't string two words together, let alone write persuasive copy.
 
Can I ask a serious question here (well not that serious really)?

Can someone here with longevity in the industry please tell me what the fuck defines a super affiliate? How much money do you need to make to be one? I keep seeing these so-called super affiliate bloggers and gurus talking about being super affiliates, but how do they know if there is no definition? A super affiliate for them could be someone who clears $100k a year, but for another it could be someone who clears $5 million. I just don't get it and I have been in the industry for a couple of years.

I see one or two of the "names" in the industry talk on their blogs about shit that is, in my opinion, chump change.

Where do you think the super affiliate level starts? And do you really give a fuck?

It's just a fucking title that ego-driven pricks like to use to sell their products.
 
I follow 2 things...

1) Take action... A lot of people just read read read and by the time they sit down to take action there are too many things going on and question themselves if this will work or that will work...

2) Here on WF....there may be a lot of noise but that doesn't mean it's all garbage..A lot of the threads have golden info in them so you just gotta dig into it grab the info and take action..
 
Start from picking right niche like health , dating or Internet marketing and join their affiliate programs pick attractive template with keyword rich domain and create a review site. Most of the good affiliate programs will provide all the materials templates, banners and images to promote programs.
 
Insert - pick a good, low competition, decent traffic niche.

You'll be farther ahead than 95% of the noobs who come to this forum. But odds are you're one of the 95% who thinks they can get something for nothing and so end up with nothing.

Pick one source, one niche, focus on that only until you are in the black. study and learn as much as you can, like you are getting your masters. Scale through the roof to a point of automation, rinse and repeast

He had a huge ringtone download site years ago that was running adsense. He was getting an insane amount of traffic and killed it with Adsense.
 
hello! i think the best answer for your question is you can start anytime as long as you are part of the world wide web. since, business blend with competitive skills is needed in the real world, you should try to excel and work hard for you to be successful in your whereabouts. enhance your computer skills or anything that you are comfortable of. so, good luck in finding and exploring great possibilities! :)
