Alrighty I need your advice on something. So part of my promo server includes what we dub QUIT("the quick indexing tool") which basically combines a bunch of awesome techniques to get your site indexed VERY quickly. It works like a mother fucker. No joke no fluff.

I was thinking about making a version available to the readers of my blog. I know alot of ppl will find a ton of use for it and its one of those things i don't mind sharing. However I got bluehat on one of my crappy i dont' care servers. Since its a not for profit site and ppl will be slamming the script i'm considering making it a for profit script. How should i do it?

Should i make it completely free to use, then make a bitchin captcha so people will do it manually and then charge a fee if ppl would like to bypass the script and use it automatically.
Or should i make it charge per url? Or should i just make the whole thing free and not include the api method and then just limit how many they can do per day? Perhaps i should only allow one page per domain. Perhaps i can take out certain techniques that use a lot of cpu and bandwidth. So the thing can handle the load.

One other thing i'm considering is making it by voluntary donation. If it became something you used often or automatically would you be willing donate and if so how much do you think ppl would?

I'm wondering whats the best route to take on this one. I'd really like to make it available to everyone, but at this point it would of been a better tool to release back when bluehat didn't get so many damn readers. it kind of throws me into a bind.

I say that you should keep it free and ask for donations for a couple reasons.
1. If you realy want to have it available to everyone it needs to be free for uglys
2. If its realy as bomb as you say, people who are financially secure and use your tool will surley hook you up
Good luck in your decision and cant wait to see it

How fast is super fast? I have found having a sig link in a busy forum gets sites indexed very fast so I am curious as to what kind of speed your system would provide over that.

i think i'll try that kaveman, i've done another script before on bluehat that was by donation. it at least made enough money to keep me from bitching about server load.

aeiouy, its not any particular technique its just a huge combination of techniques and link placements that, when combined, work very fast. Its nothing i'm going to write a big sales pitch about. However it may be cool to have a monitoring script. So when people submit their pages it'll look and see if their sites make it into teh engines everyday until they do then make a global average. People may find use from that info.
